Reflexology in Ontario

Reflexology is a holistic healing art that naturally and without drugs, stimulates every part, gland and organ of the body. By stimulating reflexes in the feet and hands, tension is released, circulation improved and the body is assisted in regaining a state of harmony and balance.

There are many ways to experience or learn Reflexology in Ontario.  Practitioners known as a Reflexologist are located all over Ontario including here at Moments Of Magic Optimal Mind and Body.  It is important that you choose a practitioner that is a member of the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario ( RRCO ) as these practitioners operate in accordance with the Municipal Bylaws that are designed to prevent unqualified Reflexology practitioners from practicing without proper training.  Simply put, ask your Reflexology Practitioner if they are members in good standing with the RRCO, if not choose another practitioner to make sure you get the quality Reflexology experience you deserve!

For those interested in learning reflexology, there are several schools that are recognized by the RRCO.  It is in your interest to get trained by one of these schools as you will then have no trouble becoming a member of the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario when your training is complete and you have passed your exams.   I highly recommend a hands on course rather than a correspondence course, personally I like interaction between student and teacher and think you get a better result with this format, however the Ontario College of Reflexology does offer correspondence courses that will be accepted by the RRCO as the OCR is a founding member of the RRCO organization.

The Reflexology course is part of the Holistic program at Centennial and the instructors are very knowledgeable. This course provides the in-depth anatomy and hands on training that will help make you an excellent Reflexologist.
