Hypnosis helps with weight loss

People who have never experienced hypnosis have the idea that all hypnosis is like a Hypnosis Stage Show, the fact is that it is nothing like that at all.  People who volunteer for a stage show are doing so because they want to have fun, let loose and experience crazy stuff.  When you are experiencing Hypnosis for something like Weight Loss it’s much different.

First, all Hypnosis is self hypnosis. This means that you are the one that is in control and you’re the one that actually allows the experience to take place.  You can end the Hypnosis at any time and will always be aware of what is going on around you.

So how can Hypnosis help you to lose weight? When you allow yourself to go into Hypnosis and relax completely the mind becomes more accepting of positive suggestions and possibilities.  It is easier to visualize yourself at your goal weight and imagine what that will feel like when you’re in Hypnosis, but more importantly it provides the opportunity to change unconscious behaviours that are taking place automatically.  For example, have you ever been upset and found yourself in the kitchen looking for something to eat without even thinking about it?  What would you rather do instead of reaching for food at those times?  Through Hypnosis we can teach the unconscious mind quite easily that the old behaviour is undesired and you want to replace it with a new, more beneficial beahviour.  The unconscious mind will then make the changes necessary to produce the new behaviour.

This is just one example of how we use Hypnosis in the Weight Loss process, the bottom line is we can help you to experience what it will be like to reach your goal weight and align both your conscious and unconscious mind so that you have a much better chance of being successful.
